After washing and drying numerous pairs of trainers – I have been packing them – The Moria way.  When I was working in the warehouse at Moria camp (Afghan Hill), this is how the shoes and trainers were stored ..

Its only days to go until I travel to Idomeni, I am pleased that I know some volunteers over there.  I think it will be very different to Lesvos, but I do feel prepared.

As I have said before, as well as providing practical help I am also trying hard to get the human story told.  To help break down the walls that keep being put up, walls which are designed to keep refugees out and to show them as somehow less than human, less than equal. Today I was interviewed by Monica Winfield at BBC Radio Leicester, the link is below if you are interested in listening  – my interview starts around 2hr 41min.
